A) Introduction - top

This plugin can be used for password protection of your woocommerce products. Consist the option to set general or an individual password for each product.

B) Installation - top

Now we assume that you already have Wordpress installed and working on your server and you have Product password protector package you purchased from CodeCanyon, if you didn't have Wordpress Site working yet, we advice you to follow this page which has been provided by Wordpress to show you installation process details. If you already has it installed so it's time to start installing "Product password protector", simply choose one of the following 2 ways to install the plugin.

Installing via Wordpress control panel

• Download the package you purchased from CodeCanyon, then extract the ZIP file anywhere on your computer.
• Log into your WordPress control panel and click on the “Plugins” tab.
• Then click on the "Add New" tab.
• Click on the "Upload" button from the small navigation menu on top, direct below "Install Plugins" tab.
• Now browse for the folder you extracted from the downloaded ZIP file, and choose the file with name "product_protector_plugin.zip".
• Click the "Install Now" button.
• Then "Activate The Plugin" if you want to start now.

Uploading via FTP

• Download the package you purchased from CodeCanyon then extract the ZIP file anywhere on your computer.
• In the extracted folder you will find 'product_protector_plugin.zip' Extract this file.
• Use an FTP client to access your Wordpress installation directory.
• Now upload the folder you extracted from "product_protector_plugin.zip" file to this path wp-content/plugins/ 
• Then from Wordpress control panel go to > Plugins > Installed Plugins and you will find "Product password protector (woocommerce)" plugin in the listed plugins, click "Activate" to start now.

C) How to change general password - top

After installing and activating plugin, it's a good point to set plugin options and change password go to Protector tab, here is the place you can change your products password.

If you would like to change your current password, type it and click "Change password" button:

D) How to enable product password protection - top

If you want to enable password protection for each product just go to Products tab and click "Edit" on product which you need to protect, after this enable or disable "Product protector enable" checkbox.

E) How to set individual product password protection - top

To set individual product password you will need to go to Products tab and click "Edit" on product what you need to protect, after this type some password in the field "Set individual password" (if you don't need it this - leave it empty).

E) How to set product password protection by category - top

To set product password protection by category you will need to click on "Protector" tab. Here you can update password for each product category.

Priority is:

• Individual Password (!!!)
• Category Password (!!)
• Global Password (!)
