What is WooCommerce Notification?

For a Woocommerce website or store only, how to increase traffic to a product of shop page, how to stimulate the curiosity of customers about special products then up sales? The question for admin site is how a website automatic to notify about new, hot, best sale or trending products for visitors in order to pay more attention? WooCommerce Notification is a powerful plugin, allowing:

Install Plugin:

Go to Plugin/Add New /Upload Plugin/Choose file/ select plugin file zip/ Install Now/Active Plugin

 

Done! Let’s start using the plugin.

After successfully install the plugin. Go to Dashboard/ Woo Notification to view the plugin back end.

In Products tab, configure the main settings of the plugin.

In Show Products, select Get from Billing to display the WooCommerce orders.

In Order Time, select a time to pick up orders to display. In the picture, I choose to display orders in the last 60 days.

Now the plugin should be displaying orders in last 60 days on front-end.

General

1. Enable: Turn on notification plugin on desktop.
2. Mobile: Enable/Disable the plugin on mobile and responsive.

Design

1. Color settings. You can select the text color, highlight color (link color) and background color.
2. Template: select a template for pop-ups. This option will overwrite the background color.
3. Position. Select the product image position and the pop-up position on front end.
4. Border Radius: Configure the border radius of the notification pop-up.
5. Show Close Icon: show icon to close notification in order to visitors can close the notification in front-end.
6. Image redirect: Click-able product image, redirect to the single product page.
7. Link target. Select to open link in current tab or open a new browser tab.
8. Message display effect: Pop-up appear effect.
9. Message hidden effect: Pop-up disappear effect.
10. Custom CSS: Add your own custom CSS

Messages

1. Message purchased: Type in the message you want to display. You can use shortcodes to display necessary information
2. Click Remove to remove a message
3. Click Add New to add more messages.
4. Custom: Add a message and use the shortcode {custom} to display it
5. Min number. The shortcode {number} will get a random number between Min number and Max number
6. Max number. The shortcode {number} will get a random number between Min number and Max number

Products

1. Get from Billing:

• Show Products: Get from billing.  The plugin will take information from Orders from WooCommerce to display.
• Out of stock products: This option allows you to select if you want to display out of stock products on notification pop-up.
• Exclude Products: Select products that you don’t want to display on pop-ups.
• External link: Enable external link with the External/Affiliate products.
• Order Time: The amount of time back to past that plugin will take orders from. In the example picture, the plugin will display orders in the last 60 minutes.
• Order status: Select orders statuses that the plugin will take to display.
• Product image size: Select the product image size on pop-ups.
• Non AJAX: Select if you want the plugin using AJAX to load pop-up. Using AJAX will help the pages load faster.

2. Select Products

• Show products choose Select Products to select which products will display on pop-up manually.
• Select products: Enter product names to select products you want to display.
• Virtual First Name: Enter the virtual customer first names. Each first virtual name on a line.
• Virtual Time: set a time that how long ago a virtual customer purchased a specific product.
• Address: you can use auto detect address or make a virtual address of a customer.
• Virtual City and Country. You can enter many different cities but only one country. Then the system will automatic to show randomly virtual first names and virtual cities in notification form.
• Auto detect: you need to fill in Ipfind Auth Key, you can get at https://ipfind.co
• Product image size: Select the product image size on pop-ups.

3. Latest Products

• In Show Products, choose Latest Products. With this option, the plugin will auto select newest products to display on pop-ups.
• Product Limit, the number of newest products you want to display on the pop-up.
• Other options are same as “Select Products“.

4. Select categories

• Show products, choose Select categories. With this option, the plugin will display products from chosen categories.
• In Select Categories, enter the name of the categories you want to display to select.
• Other options are similar to Select products, Latest products.

5. Recent Viewed Products

• In Show Products select Recent Viewed Product. This will make the plugin display product that has just viewed by a customer on his screen
• Other options are similar.

• Run single product: The plugin will only show the current product or product in the same category with the product that costumers are viewing.
• Notification show: Select Current product or Products in the same category.
• Current product: The plugin will only show notifications about the product that the customers are viewing.
• Products in the same category: The plugin will only display notification about products in the same category with the product that customers are viewing.
• Show variation:  Show variation instead of product variable.

Time

• Disabled Loop: If Loop is disabled then when visitors load a page which shows notification form, each sold or virtual sold product will be shown in notification once and be not showed again. Just reload the page then notification form will continue showing.
• Enabled Loop: Notifications will be repeated on a page even though visitors do not reload the page.
• Next time display: Time between 2 notification pop-ups.
• Notification per page: Select how many notification pop-ups will be displayed on each page load.
• Initial time random:  Enable this to random initial time from 0 to Initial delay.
• Minimum initial delay time: minimum time to start show notification.
• Initial delay: delay time to show notification after loading site completely.
• Display time: time to show a notification.

Sound

Enable: Display a sound along with the pop-up when it appears.

Sound: Select the sound you want to display.

Assign

In “Assign” tab

– Enable Homepage to hide notification on Homepage

– Enable Checkout page to hide notification on Checkout page

– Enable Cart page to hide notification on Cart page

– Conditional Tags: to specify which pages to show notification. You can use the Page’s ID, Title or Slug.Example:

Report

If you enable Save Logs, then Logs will be saved.

History time is the time that history will be kept.

Save logs helps system stores information when visitors click on the notification. Then admin site could be a statistic of number clicks and analysis fluctuation sales. Report system allows to view statistic number clicks by date or by product name.
