Installation
1. Installing from a Zip File (Local)
- The installation of the plugin is just like any other plugin installation for WordPress. Login to your WordPress site and go to Plugins > Add New.
- At the Install Plugins Page click on Upload from the top navigation and then click on browse.
- Go to the location on your computer where you saved the downloaded plugin zip file and upload "customize-product-categories-for-visual-composer" zipped file.
- Now click on Install Now.
- Wait until WordPress has uploaded the file. If it's done click on Activate Plugin.
- Now you should see a message 'Plugin activated' at the top of the window.
2. Install via FTP
- Download the zip version of the plugin (Download the plugin from CodeCanyon) and extract it on your computer.
- Connect to your website via FTP (you can use a software like Filezilla to transfer files to your server) and browse to the /wp-content/plugins directory
- Select the folder containing the plugin files on your computer and upload it.
- After all the plugin files have been uploaded to your web server, you can activate the plugin from the Plugins menu of your WordPress admin dashboard.
How it work
After installing and activating the plugin, you will create the templates with your style with WPBakery Page Builder . If you want to use that templates for product category pages, just select a specific template and click Active button in WooCommerce >> Categories Templates menu.
- But if you want: each product category use a different template. For example: There are three product category such as: category A, category B, category C. You want product category A to use template A simply visit the product category A edit page and select Template Product Category option with Template as A, similar that apply for product category B & product category C.
Use The Plugin
1. Add New Template
Go to WooCommerce >> Categories Templates menu, just need to click Add New button like screenshot below
Template is publish after click the publish button
2. Use the template
There are 2 ways to use a template for product category, if you want to use the template for all product category pages then you can do the way A, or you can use the specific template for for a specific product category page then you can do it by way B.
A/ Use the template for all product category pages
You just need to hover your mouse over the template and click the Activate button
And now, we can see all product category pages use the template
Frontend: Product Category page is Clothing
Frontend: Product Category page is Music
B/ Use the specific template for specific product category
First, create the templates you want to use
To set the specific template for the product category page, go to the product category edit page, and at here you will select a template via Template option.
And now, we can see that the product category pages using the template have been selected.

3. Use the loop template
A. Add New Loop Template
Go to WooCommerce >> Categories templates menu, at Loop templates tab, just need to click Add New button like screenshot below
Template is publish after click the publish button
B. Use the loop template for all product category pages
First, create product category template use Products - Loop element.
Next, Active the template by you just need to hover your mouse over the template and click the Activate button
And now, we can see that the product category pages using the loop template.

C. Use the loop template for specific product category pages
You can do this same with Use the specific template for specific product category
