Getting Started
Requirements
Apart from the necessary WordPress requirements, and WooCommerce requirements, here are listed recommended server configuration requirements to make the theme’s functions work correctly.
- PHP: Version 7.3 or greater
- MySQL: Version 5.6 or greater ( OR MariaDB version 10.1 or greater)
- memory_limit – 128M, or higher
- max_execution_time – 180, or higher
- upload_max_filesize – 32M, or higher
- HTTPS support: Refer Moving Toward SSL and SSL and HTTPS for more information.
Most problems, such as white screen, out of memory error, sample data import failure, etc., usually arrive due to server settings and excessively low PHP configuration limits. You can change the necessary configurations, either by yourself (if your hosting provider allows you to do so) or contact your hosting provider to increase the limits.
So, make sure your server configuration is all set up, and the theme and plugins are working correctly. Enough server configuration will also ensure fast speed and increased performance.
Note
- Please check the theme requirements before you start with the theme. You can check PHP configuration and limits in Admin Panel > Tools > Site Health > Info [tab]. Site Health tool is built-in in WordPress v5.2 or greater. If you are using WordPress v5.1.x or lower, use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin.
- In addition to the theme’s, above-mentioned, minimum requirements, if you are using an extensive list of plugins, the minimum requirements of your website may increase, according to the count and requirements of plugins.
WordPress Installation
WordPress is one of the most accepted and popular CMS in the world that makes it the best choice for your website.
You can download and install the WordPress from the official website using WordPress’ very setup steps called “Famous 5-minute install”.
For more information on WordPress, please, visit the WordPress Codex page.
Theme Installation
We assume that your WordPress website is already set (if not, refer to WordPress Documentation to setup WordPress), the next step is to install the theme.
To get started with theme installation (we assume that you’ve purchased theme at ThemeForest), you’ll need to download the theme file. To download theme file, go to ThemeForest Downloads and locate the theme. Click on the download button and select the “Installable WordPress file only.” It will download the WordPress theme zip file for your theme.
Once, the download completed, you can proceed with theme installation. Here are the steps to install the theme:
Option 1: Via “Envato Market” plugin (Recommended)
In this method, you can use install theme directly from ThemeForest with Envato Market plugin. It is a free plugin. Using it, you can access all of your Themeforest and CodeCanyon item purchases from your WordPress dashboard. It becomes easy to install new ThemeForest item and as well as keep them up to date. In this way, you will always have the latest feature additions, bundled plugin updates, and any theme security patches.
To start first, download the plugin from GitHub, then log into your WordPress installation and navigate to Plugins > Add New
.
Click on “Upload Plugin” at the top left corner of the screen, then browse for the Envato-Market plugin zip file. After that, click “Install Now.” After that, click the “Activate Plugin.”
Once a plugin is installed and activated, you will need to link it to your Envato account to get access to all of your WordPress theme and plugin purchases. To do this, click on the “Generate A Personal Token” link on the Envato Market plugin page. It will redirect you to the Envato API page. You can generate an authorization token here.
To generate your token, log into your Envato account (if you are not logged in), check the terms and conditions checkbox (but don’t uncheck any of the select options – the Envato Market plugin needs access to this info to work correctly) and click the green button for “Create Token.”
You should get a green success screen next.
Copy your token code and paste into the Token field on the Envato Market plugin page then Save Changes.
Once token saved, you will able to see all of your purchases. Just click the Install button to install your theme, and that’s it.
Option 2: with FTP Client
If you prefer to install your theme via FTP / SFTP, you can. It is a straightforward process. There are some necessary steps which cannot be miss.
For this, first, you need to install an FTP (file transfer protocol) client application. You can use FileZilla, or any other FTP Client, as per your choice and system environments.
Once FTP client installed, open it and connect to your server (we are using FileZilla for demonstration). For more information on FTP server refer this link.
Now, extract the theme from downloaded zip (Please make sure you’ve downloaded it with “Installable WordPress file only”). Then, navigate to “themes” folder on your server, it should be at “Your_Website_Root\wp-content\themes”. Now, upload the extracted “theme” folder in themes folder on the server.
Option 3: Through WordPress
For this installation method, follow below steps:
- Log in to the WordPress Admin Panel and go to Appearance > Themes.
- Click on Add New button on top of the screen.
- Click on Upload Theme button in the top, to upload a zipped copy of the theme (Please make sure you’ve downloaded it with “Installable WordPress file only”).
- Now, select the zipped copy of the theme, and click on Install Now button.
Note – This method not recommended due to the large size of the theme.
Child Theme
CiyaShop fully supports child theme. A child theme inherits the functionality and styles of another theme, called the parent theme. Child themes are the preferable way of modifying an existing theme.
A child theme allows to make minor or extensive changes, in a safest and most comfortable method, yet still, it preserves theme’s look and functionality.
And, using the child theme, in the case of updating the theme, will help to avoid losing any customization.
Theme package contains “CiyaShop Child” child theme. To use the child theme, upload the child theme, from theme package, in the /wp-content/themes/ folder.

Sample Data

You can import the sample data by running the setup wizard, or you also can use the theme options to import the sample data. For that, first, activate the “CiyaShop” theme and run the setup wizard.
In the setup wizard, activate the theme using the purchase code. After the theme activation, the next step is to create a child theme. If you want to customize it, then the next step is to select the page builder. We have provided support for the ‘WpBakery’ and ‘Elementor’ page builder. Based on the selected builder, the plugin installation and the sample data imported will work. The next step will be plugin installation based on the page builder you selected. After that, You can proceed with sample-data to install sample data. It will help you to understand the content/layout and customize the site quickly. If you want to continue from scratch, you can skip this step. The theme is bundled with the sample data. It will create similar to the instance of our demo site ( It is not exactly the same because the contents/layout of the demo site change time-to-time as per new changes).
To proceed to sample data installation using theme options, go to Theme Settings > Sample Data and click on the “Install” button (and Keep Calm). And the import will run and be processed in the background.
You can import additional pages using Additional pages importer, which contains the additional home pages.
Note: You have to activate the theme first. Without activation of the theme, you can’t import the sample data.

Retina Display
The basic concept of a Retina image is that an image twice the size of a standard web image will display on the screen. On a non-retina device an image will be 100px X 100px
whereas a Retina device will display the same image but at 200px X 200px.
Most of the devices use this branded concept for Retina devices like having approximately twice the pixel density of a non-retina device.
If you want to get perfect looking images on Retina screens, for example, you build a website where you upload regular images into Content; then you must always upload two images in Media
Add new section which looks like below:
my_image.png - this is the name for standard image (e.g. 100px X 100px) my_image@2x.png - this is the example name for retina image and file must be always 2x larger than regular image (e.g. 200px X 200px)
Note You need to include retina.js
to make your website completely retina ready. See example below:
<!-- retina --> <script type="text/javascript" src="js/retina.js"></script>
For more information about retina documentation and to download retina.js click here.

Speed Optimization
The two factors involved in reducing load time of site are as below:
1. Limiting the scripts to minimum number of files as possible.
WordPress sites are especially susceptible to loading many scripts upon page load. This is because plugins and themes generally have their own scripts that need to be loaded in order to function. In some websites, developers would manually combine them to reduce the overhead upon page load.
2. Deferring the loading of “non-critical” scripts.
It includes moving scripts to the bottom of the page. When a browser is loading your page, it typically loads things in parallel until it encounters a script. And while working on a script browser load only scripts nothing else. Once the script is loaded, the website can continue rendering everything else. You can see how, especially if you have many scripts, this can affect your page load time.
Steps to Resolve the “Render-blocking JavaScript and CSS” PageSpeed Error:
Step 1. Resolve any render-blocking plugin scripts by adjusting plugin settings, if possible.
Google PageSpeed help you to determine which render-blocking scripts coming from a plugin you need to adjust. If you are able to identify any plugins from the list of scripts, go to each plugin’s settings, one by one, and search for a setting that will defer the JavaScript or load it asynchronously. If you are unable to identify any plugins from the list of scripts, or if you do not have any of these plugin settings available to you, continue on to step 2.
Revolution Slider settings :
Do the following :
1. Revolution Slider “Global Settings”:
– Include RevSlider libraries globally: ON.
– Insert JavaScript Into Footer: ON
– Defer JavaScript Loading: OFF.

2.
3.
Step 2. Resolve the CSS file from render-blocking
-
- Enable Optimize HTML code
- Enable Optimize JavaScript code
- Enable Optimize CSS Code
- “Inline and Defer CSS”
I. IDENTIFY All of Your Site’s CSS.
A.) Open Autoptimze (Settings –> Autoptimze), and tick the “Inline All CSS?, Remove Google Fonts? and Also aggregate inline CSS?” option (click all images below for a larger view):

B.) Then, click “Save Settings and Empty Cache” at the bottom of your Autoptimize dashboard.
C.) In another browser tab with an empty cache, open your homepage’s source code (right click –> open source).
D.) Your HTML will (likely) be huge now. Copy everything between the <style type=”text/css” media=”all”> and ending </style> tags.
II. EXTRACT the Critical CSS.
A.) Open this Critical Path CSS Generator and enter your site’s homepage URL into the field under #1 (“URL”).
B.) Paste the code you copied from your source into the field under #2 (Full CSS).

C.) Click the ‘Create Critical Path CSS’ button, and you’ll get something like:

D.) Copy the generated CSS code.
III. APPLY Critical CSS.
A.) Go back into Autoptimize, and tick the “Inline and Defer CSS?” option.
B.) Enter the code you copied from the Critical Path CSS Generator into the field under the Inline and Defer CSS option box. Like:

C.) Click “Save settings and Empty Cache” at the bottom of your Autoptimize dashboard.

Instagram Basic Display API: Long-Lived Access Tokens now available
How do I verify my developer account on Facebook?
Once you have connected the instagram with website you can manage the settings regarding the images. here are the list of options.
- Image Count : Enter number of images to fetch from Instagram API.
- Image Fetch Duration : Select interval of hours to fetch images from Instagram.
- Get other size images : The current Instagram API does not provide small and medium-sized images. If you want to get these size images select this option. Choosing this option will increase the code execution time to get images from Instagram and process other size images. So, make sure your system is configured to handle the long executing processes. If the system isn’t configured properly, the image fetching process may break.
- Refresh Image Manually : It will get the latest data at that particular time.
Now you can use this data ( Instagram images ) to display using the Shortcode or the widget
Size Guide

There is two way to add the size guide on single product. You can add the image as a size guide or create the size guide’s Table structure, which contains the Row and column. You can add or remove the column/row as you like.
To create the table, go to the ( Admin > Size Guides > Add New ) Create the table. After that, Go to the product that you like to display with the size guide. In the product edit page, after scrolling a bit, you will find the ‘Select Size Guides’ section. After selecting the ‘Size Guide Table’ Tab, it will list down all the Size guide you created. Select the one you like. You also can use the same size guide for a different product. You can use the image as well.
Static Block

Static block is the reusable functionality that can be used on all pages, Mega Menu, Footer Builder, anywhere that having the content editor. Let me understand in detail.
Static block is basically on custom post type on which you can use the page editor to create a structure using the shortcode/Elementor Widget, Which will create one string of a shortcode something like WordPress shortcode.
Ex. [ shortcode_handel ]
To create the table, go to the ( Admin > Static Blocks > Add New )
This shortcode can be used in the editor area. It will display the structure that you have created using the static block section on the front side. In a simple way, you just have to put the shortcode string created in that particular block, and it will display the structure on the front side. We also have provided the Shortcode/Widget for a static block to use in page builders.
Note: If you wanted to use page editor on the static block, you have to enable editor for it using the particular page builder’s settings.
