To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. Below are all the useful links for WordPress information.
Once you've downloaded the installation file on ThemeForest, extract it and locate a file called Flexi.zip. You can install the theme by using one of two installation methods:
1. WordPress upload
Step 1: Go to Admin Panel → Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme
.
Step 2: Browse to file Flexi.zip and click Install Now button to install.
2. FTP upload
- Upload non-zipped theme folder called Flexi to /wp-content/themes/
folder in your WordPress installation folder on your server.
3. Active Theme:
Go to Admin Panel → Appearance → Themes
, locate the theme and click Activate button to activate the theme.
You will see a notification message to change permalink setting to post name. Please do this.
Note! If you have issues when installing a WordPress themes, please go to here to get help.
After you actived Flexi theme, you will see the notice, as described in the screenshot below:
To install this plugins, click on Begin installing plugins link.
Check plugins which you want to install, select Install and click Apply button.
Waiting a while, after all installations have been completed. These plugins will be actived automatically.

You can either start building your site from scratch, or import one of our demo sites and then modify it to fit your needs. We will now explain how to perform the import process.
Make sure you activated Solazu Unyson plugin, Visual Composer plugin, Revolution Slider plugin and Contact Form 7 plugin then do the following one of two ways:
1.1. Import post, pages, widget and options
To import demo content, make sure you activated Backup & Demo Content extension. Go to Admin Panel → Flexi → Extension Manager
to activate this extension.
Then, go to Admin Panel → Flexi → Demo Install
to see what you can import. Click Install button to import demo content.
Notes: To make sure that your import process is successful, your server configure must satisfy theme's requirements. Go to Admin Panel → Flexi → Theme Settings
and choose Requirements tab to see theme's requirements.
1.2. Import Slider
To import slider, you must make sure that Revolution Slider plugin is actived and do the following steps below
"Admin panel → Slider Revolution"
and click on Import Slider."demo-content → slider-example"
folder in your package that downloaded from ThemeForest.Use other tools in download package, please read "Demo-content / readme.txt".
After you import demo content, please go to Admin Panel → Settings → Permalink
and click Save Changes
button to complete process.
Once the demo data has been imported, you can make changes according to your requirements and continue building your site.
1. To set up Widgets, please go on "Appearance → Widgets"
Flexi → Theme Settings → Advertisement

Go to Appearance → Widgets
, enter widget name in Custom Widgets if you want to add new widget area.
You can access Theme Settings from menu Flexi in WordPress Admin Panel. The settings found here are applied globally and will affect all pages of the site. However, be noted that many of these options can be override locally by applying settings on individual pages or on shortcode elements.
In this section you can set up some general settings for your site. Please check below options available in this section:
This Section will change setting for header.
This Section will change setting for footer.
This section allows you to choose sidebar and sidebar layout for Page, Blog and archive page of Portfolio, Team, Service, Recruitment and other pages as Search, Author, Category, Archive, Tag.
This section allows you to add new advertisement area. Advertisement area help you to create and manager the banner in site. To display this advertisement on front-end, let's add SLZ Ads Banner shortcodes in Flexi’s shortcode list to your specific page.
This section allows you to configure what is shown in single post.
After finishing configure how to display of post single, it will be shown in front-end as below.
Besides, yo can also configure for single pages of Portfolio, Service, Team or Recruitment in this section.
This section allows you to set how to display page header in your site. You can custom background, color and font size for title and breadcrumb. Besides, this section allows you to configure page header in specific page as Posts, Portfolio, Service, Team or Recruitment in respective tabs.
In this section, you can setting for 404 page.
In this section, you can write some of your manual code to change the style as your wish.
In this section, you can write some of your manual code to change the script/action for your site.
This section allows you to configure to minify your resource.
In this section, you can see Enviroment information of your site.
This section allows you to import/export settings in Theme Settings of Flexi theme.
This menu manages all posts. From here you can add new, edit or delete post. Besides, you also can overwrite settings of post which you set in Theme Settings.
To create a new blog post, go to Posts → Add New
from the Admin Panel

In that new page, please fill in all fields according to your needs. Once all is completed, your detail page should be shown as below.
To configure what will be display in blog detail, please go to Flexi → Theme Settings → Post Settings
to change respective fields.
Besides, you can also display posts by SLZ Posts Block shortcodes in Flexi’s shortcode list to your specific page.
This menu manages all pages. From here you can add new, edit or delete page. Besides, you also can overwrite settings of page which you set in Theme Settings.

Portfolio is custom post type and you can manage it like post. To create a new post, go to Portfolio → Add New

There are many different shortcodes that you can use to display portfolio on your front page, they are SLZ Gallery Carousel, SLZ Gallery Feature, SLZ Gallery Grid, SLZ Gallery Tab, SLZ Isotope, SLZ Project Carousel, SLZ Project Category and SLZ Project List shortcode. You can find them in Flexi’s shortcode list when add new or edit page by Visual Composer. You can also create a Portfolio Categories that is a collection of portfolio same category.
Services is custom post type and you can manage it like post. To create a new post, go to Services → Add New
from the Admin Panel
.
To display services in your front page, you can add SLZ Service Block shortcode in Flexi’s shortcode list to your specific page. You also can create a Service Categories that is a collection of services same category.
Teams is custom post type and you can manage it like post. To create a new team, go to Teams → Add New
from the Admin Panel
.
To display teams in your front page, you can add SLZ Teams Block or SLZ Team Tab shortcodes in Flexi’s shortcode list to your specific page. You also can create a Team Categories that is a collection of teams same category.
Gallery is custom post type and you can manage it like post. To create a new gallery, go to Gallery → Add New
from the Admin Panel
.

file by Poedit.mo
file will be created automatically after you saved.In Admin Panel, go on Settings → General

Note : After you translate your pages you need to go into Settings → Permalinks
and click on Save.

to create a new po file. Choose "Extract from source" to configure source code extraction.
In "Translation properties" of Catalog properties dialog, please choose Source code charset is UTF-8.
In "Sources paths" tab, please add folder which you want create po file.
Example :
- Choose "wp-content/themes/Flexi"
if you want to translate Flexi theme.
- Choose "wp-content/plugins/solazu-unyson"
if you want to translate Solazu Unyson plugin.
Next switch to "Sources keywords" tab, press the same "New item" button and add all Gettext functions you use for your plugin as below.
Make sure all necessary functions are added and press OK button. After your po file is nicely saved, navigate to Catalog and choose to "Update from sources"
- Choose text which want translate and translate them to your language.
- After you have done your translation, click Save.

We introduce you a plugin to optimize image - EWWW Image Optimizer plugin. This is available on WordPress Plugin Directory.
Admin panel → Plugins → Add New
and enter EWWW Image Optimizer in search form. Install and Active it.Admin panel → Media → Bulk Optimize
, click on Scan for unoptimized images, after that, click on Start optimizing button to optimize. Then wait until it done.Notes: After optimize image, please deactive the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin.
